Our next event is on Tuesday 7 April. Richard Hoyle will be joining the group to give a talk '50 years a Beachley coastguard' in Redwick Village Hall. The presentation will cover:

• 200 years of history

• The national view of His Majesty's Coastguard, then the local history of Chepstow Coastguard

• An update on today's modern service and local incidents
